animals at Camp

animal1.jpg (17876 Byte) I think you all remember "Fester", the snapping turtle. There are rumors that the turtle in the picture is not Fester, but is has not been proven yet (and is not too important anyway, I guess).
This picture of the hawk I took up on a spot in the mountains I deliberately named "hawkview mountain" because everytime I went there I saw a couple of hawks flying right above me. Looks pretty cool, you can believe me!

animal3.jpg (9377 Byte) Yes, and don´t forget the fishes. I still have no clue how they are called, but I like them anyway. Because:
"Fishes don´t bite, they kiss..."
The rattle snake. Do I have to say much? Some of the comments I got at home while showing my pictures around: "Is this snake poisonous?" or "They are THIS big?" (Remember, this has been a baby) animal4.jpg (15120 Byte)

Ok, this are all the "animal pictures" I got. But to pay respect to the local wildlife at Camp Lanowa, here I try a list of all the animals living there (exluding all the small tiny ones like insects and the ones I forgot...):

- chipmunks
- squirrels
- mice
-rattle snakes
- copperheads
- water snakes
- fishes
- snapping turtles
- deer
- hawks
- grasshoppers
- frogs
- spiders
- crickets
- salamanders
... and so on...
