the city

nyc10.jpg (24058 Byte) This is the view out of one of the staircase windows in a house in the Bronx. Looks like I wanted to serve some old stereotypes, but it is just the way I saw it.
Another picture of the Bronx. Pay attention to the very right part of the pic, I like that one the most.

nyc4.jpg (34431 Byte) Here, somewhere close to the Times Square the sun slowly came down and put the street in a nice light.
This is the other side of the same street where you see the sun illuminate the scene.

nyc5.jpg (33141 Byte) I think it is totally fascinating how the buildings are so close. Here looking from the seaside to the Wall Street disctrict.
A skyscraper is reflected in another one. I took the picture because of the trees on top of the buliding.
(Greetings to Kathleen this way... :-)

nyc1.jpg (34037 Byte) Somewhere in the Lower East Side...
The first time I saw a beetle in the States, of course in the Lower East Side. This is about where I would hang out at home.

nyc9.jpg (52930 Byte) A shop in the Lower East Side. I have to admit that there are already postcards with exactly the some motive, but I liked it, and I was so lucky to walk by that shop and I thought, why not taking the same picture?
Advertising. Why do we do not have this kind of cool advertising at home? It looks so real, I wonder if the car crash rate increases near this house?
