but not the laughter of children
or the goodness of people
finally seen again
memories might fade...
and so might the faces
the hairs or the clothes
or the places
memories might fade...
and the course of time
might alter the outside
sometime
but if you look
with your heart
nothing can tear
memories apart

This is a poem I wrote August 31st 1999 in Columbus, Ohio. It was just a kind of looking back. Looking back to camp, but also looking back to the year when I had been in the States before. I met some nice people again, recalled all the places and houses and realized that something just does not change...
