sunset impressions
a light, fiery, warm,
magical orange
with
a distant, cool, but soft, emotional purple
with
shades of yellow,
spread, filling the sky
with
clouds, white ones, ripped, light, peaceful
and with
an overwhelming, infinite, silent blue
parts the earth
from the heaven
setting the relation
of us and our actions
to preserve this
life

I wrote this poem August 6th 1999 on "hawkview
mountain" while looking at one of the most beautiful sunsets up there. The
picture does not capture exactly the stuff described, because I took it some
minutes later and everything changed so quickly. But still: looks good...
